Rent stuff

Many riders like to bring their own bikes and that's great and actually what we recommend since that’s the bike you know best. Bikes are actually very easy to travel with as any other luggage and the two Icelandic airlines, Icelandair and Iceland Express, will allow you to bring a packed bike (bike bags or cardboard) for about 25-35 euros. A bike bag is preferred over cardboard, because of lighter weight and easier handling by airport staff.

TREK 4300/4500disc are available for prices from about EUR 40/58 per day but after the third rental day the prices per day drop by 30%.

For those willing to pay for higher-end bikes for the more technical trips the guys at Örninn are very flexible and willing to quote rental prices for customised packages and almost any bike at their shop.
Bike fitting is done at Örninn bike shop at the beginning of the trip where you also pay for the bike rental. The perfect opportunity also to pick up that essential little item that you may have forgotten back home.

Sleeping bags and pads
We strongly recommend that you bring your own sleeping bag but should you not have one we can also supply sleeping bags and sleeping pads (mattresses). Please contact us for further information.
